Melbourne Seaplane

Melbourne Seaplanes has been operating out of Williamstown since 1997.

Seaplanes have been operating in Williamstown since the 1930s’ and during World War II there were permanent moorings set up by the Harbour Trust for Catalina flying boats.

Today, Melbourne Seaplanes have revived seaplane flying in Williamstown to allow local and overseas tourists the opportunity to view our great city skyline and surrounding bays and coastal beaches from the air.

Departing from a purpose built pontoon right in Williamstown and using Hobson Bay waters as our airfield.
