A Blanck Canvas is a multi-disciplinary creative workshop founded in 2013 by Joe Blanck.
A Blanck Canvas specialises in large-scale roving puppets, props, sets and site-specific installations for film, theatre and events. It launched A Blanck Canvas Productions in 2020 and shortly after launched “The Playground” at Seaworks.
Bringing together a team of talented puppet and prop-making wizards, engineers, SFX professionals, international performers, project managers, costume and graphic designers in one space, Joe strives to create unique works which blend technology and artistry to woo audiences and transform their relationship to nature and the world around them.
