Following a sold-out season earlier this year; Port of Melbourne public boat tours will return for Spring with four
new dates announced for October and November 2023, inviting locals and visitors to bask in the warmer weather
and explore the Port from a new angle. The family-friendly boat tours are a fun way learn about Australia’s largest
capital city container and cargo port, which impacts thousands of businesses and the lives of Aussies every day;
from sending Australian-grown grain to Guangzhou to bringing our much-loved coffee in from Columbia.
Featuring expert commentary from friendly port staff and children’s activities including face painting and boat themed activity packs; these guided tours provide exclusive access to areas not normally open to the public and
are the most affordable way to cruise beneath the iconic Westgate Bridge!
An enjoyable day out for big and little kids alike, Port of Melbourne’s boat tours are a unique Melbourne bucketlist experience with all proceeds donated to Mission to Seafarers Victoria and Stella Maris Seafarer Centre, to support the seafarers who spend months at sea in order to deliver our goods 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
